About the Scholarships

The Foundation for Community Care will award, on an annual basis, a scholarship to a student or students from Richland County or the surrounding areas (Sidney Health Center service area) that are pursuing a degree or certification in a healthcare curriculum. The Healthcare Scholarship program was implemented to help create a qualified healthcare workforce for Sidney Health Center and the Richland County area.

The Healthcare Scholarship Fund was added to the Foundation assistance funds to assist individuals in the completion of medical training, with the ultimate goal that they return home to eastern Montana to practice. To date, over $122,950 has been awarded in scholarships to students in a variety of programs, from administration to nursing to Family Practice. The application process for Scholarships opens on March 1st and closes on April 30th .
