Foundation for Community Care Healthcare ScholarshipScholarships ranging from $1000 to $2000 are open to students from Richland County or the surrounding area who will pursue a degree or certificate in healthcare. The Foundation for Community Care will award, on an annual basis, a scholarship to a student or students from Richland County or the surrounding areas (Sidney Health Center service area) that are pursuing a degree or certification in a healthcare curriculum. The Healthcare Scholarship program was implemented to help create a qualified healthcare workforce for Sidney Health Center and the Richland County area. The Healthcare Scholarship Fund was added to the Foundation assistance funds to assist individuals in the completion of medical training, with the ultimate goal that they return home to eastern Montana to practice. P.E.O Marj Keaton-Margie Mullen Scholarship$1,200 scholarship open to college sophomore or junior women registered to attend MSU Bozeman This scholarship, called the Marj Keaton/Margie Mullen Scholarship, is typically offered for $1200. This amount can fluctuate based on additional income our organization raises or individual donations. The two women that this scholarship honors were venerable contributors to Bozeman education, each serving the community on the Bozeman Board of Education during their lifetime. Margie Mullen also served as a Mortar Board advisor at MSU. Specific criteria for this scholarship are: 1. Must be a registered MSU Bozeman student with a 2.5 GPA 2. Must be a sophomore or junior 3. Must demonstrate financial need, and display attributes of citizenship and character (e.g., volunteerism, campus involvement) 4. Must include a cover letter.
